Formed in 1989, Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter  is one of nearly 1800 affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International. Our first home was built on East Main Street in Leesburg in March 1990. Since then we have completed over 170 homes. Since 1990, our affiliate has partnered with 130 families worldwide through our tithing program.

Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter has over 500 partners who are actively involved with 2,500 interested volunteers, churches, business people and organizations. For more information on how you can join our affiliate as a volunteer, sponsor or donor, please contact 483-0434.
